A buyer's page
One buyer across every show they bought in, with what they spent, their box number at each show, how they bid, what they said in chat and the giveaways they entered.
A buyer’s page puts one person’s history with you in one place: what they spent, the shows they bought at and their box number in each, what they bought last, how they bid and what they said in chat. Use it before a show to greet a regular, or after one to answer a question about an order.
To open it, click a buyer’s name on Buyers, or in the sales list of a group on Items. Data / Buyers above the name takes you back to the list.
The pictures on this page come from a sample account.
The header
Section titled “The header”The header shows the buyer’s username and, under it, a line with:
- The platform they bought on.
- also seen as an earlier username, with the date it was last used, when they have changed their username. More than one earlier name adds “1 more earlier name”.
- first seen and the date of the first show they bought at.
- matched by name, so this is one show when the platform did not send an account for them. A buyer matched by name is one buyer per show, so their page covers that one show. See How buyers are matched.
The numbers row
Section titled “The numbers row”A row of eight figures sums up the buyer across every show they bought at.
| Figure | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Spent with you | What they spent, in the currency they spent most in, named in brackets. Under it: how many items, how many sales had no price (“2 without a price”), and any spending in another currency (“plus …”), never added in. |
| Shows | How many of your shows they bought at, “of your last” so many: the shows you ran on that platform since their first purchase. |
| Bids placed | Their bids, and the average per show. “over 18 recorded shows” means some of their shows did not record bids, and the average covers the others. |
| Auctions won | Auctions they won, and the share of the auctions they bid on that they won. |
| Buy It Now | Buy It Now purchases and what they spent on them. |
| Chat messages | Their chat messages, and the average per show. |
| Giveaways | Giveaways they entered, and how many they won. |
| Payment failures | Payments that failed for them. When there are any, the details are on the show’s page. |
Not recorded means none of their shows recorded that kind of activity, for example shows you uploaded from history or shows from an older NotBot. It is not a zero. Unknown with “can’t be read right now” means bids and chat could not be read at that moment; reload the page later.
Their last order
Section titled “Their last order”Their last order lists everything they bought at their latest show: each item, its price, and the buyer’s box number in that show. A line that was not an auction says what it was (Buy It Now, Offer, Flash sale or Purchase), a quantity over one shows as “x2”, and a giveaway shows Giveaway instead of a price. No price recorded means the sale arrived without a price.
Under the list are the show’s name, which opens the show’s page, and its date.
Step 1: Copy the order recap
Section titled “Step 1: Copy the order recap”At the right of Their last order, click Copy order recap. The recap is plain text you can paste in a message: a first line with the username, the show, its date and the box number, then one line per item with its price. It lists items and prices only, not shipping or payment. Copied. appears under the list. If your browser does not allow it, the page says Copying is blocked in this browser.
Spend by show
Section titled “Spend by show”Spend by show draws one bar for each of the last 12 shows they bought at, oldest on the left, in the same currency as Spent with you. The line at its right says how many shows it covers, for example “The last 12 of the 19 shows they bought in”. Point at a bar to see the show, its date and the amount. A show where nothing they bought had a price in that currency shows No price instead of a bar.
Shows lists every show they bought at, newest first.
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Show | The show’s name, which opens its page, and its date. |
| Box | Their box number in that show. None when they had none. |
| Bids | Their bids in that show. |
| Won | Auctions they won in that show. |
| Chat | Their chat messages in that show. |
| Spent | What they spent in that show, with “+ 1 unpriced” for sales without a price. |
Box numbers belong to one show, so a regular usually has a different box number at each show. A · in Bids or Chat marks a show that did not record bids or chat. The table shows 50 shows at a time; Show more shows adds the next 50.
Bidding, Recent chat and Giveaways
Section titled “Bidding, Recent chat and Giveaways”Three cards sit beside the tables.
Bidding
| Line | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Most often bids against | The person who bid on the most of the same auctions, and on how many. |
| Highest winning bid | Their highest priced win and the item. |
| Usual winning price | The middle half of their priced wins, from low to high, in their main currency. It needs 3 or more priced wins. |
| Joins auctions | How long before an auction ends they usually place their first bid, for example “about 31 seconds before the end”. |
Recent chat shows their five latest chat messages in the shows they bought at, newest first, with the day and time.
Giveaways shows how many giveaways they entered out of the giveaways in their shows, and how many they won with the latest one. It counts only the shows that recorded giveaway entries.
If something looks different
Section titled “If something looks different”The page says “Preparing your numbers”
NotBot Data is adding up your shows for the first time. The page fills in on its own.
The page says “Calculating”
Every show this buyer bought at arrived recently and is still being calculated. The page loads once they are ready.
A notice says shows are “still being calculated”
Some of the shows they bought at are not counted on the page yet. What they bought there appears once those shows are ready.
The page says “This buyer is not in your data”
The link may be old, or the shows they bought at were removed. See every buyer takes you back to the list.
Bids and chat say “Not recorded”
Their shows were uploaded from history or recorded by an older NotBot, which did not record bids or chat. Sales and buyers from those shows are still counted.
