Search

Find any sale, bid, chat message, giveaway or payment failure across all your shows or inside one show, and look up a buyer by box number.

Last updated Oct 12, 2026 · Applies to NotBot Data

Search finds every event NotBot saw in your shows: sales, bids, chat messages, auctions, giveaways, Buy It Now purchases, payment failures and breaks. Use it to find who bought an item, what a buyer said in chat, or which buyer had a box number in a show.

To open it, click Search in the sidebar under Data.

The pictures on this page come from a sample account.

In Contains, type part of an item name, a username or a chat message, then wait a moment or press Enter. Upper and lower case do not matter, and any part of a word matches: “morg” finds “1921 Morgan Dollar”. The results list every match across all your shows, newest first.

Click + Date, pick a From and a To day, and click Apply. The range then shows as Date with the days beside it; click its × to search any date again. The days are days in your own time zone, and the foot of the results names it.

Above the results, a chip for each kind of event shows how many matches it has: Sales, Bids, Chat, Auctions, Giveaways, Buy It Now, Payment failures and Breaks. The chips that found something start switched on. Click a chip to leave that kind out, and click it again to bring it back. At least one chip always stays on.

Column What it shows
Time The time of the event. Click it to open the show’s page at that moment. When you search all your shows, the day and the show’s name are under it.
Event What happened: Sale, Bid, Chat, Auction started, Giveaway, Giveaway entry, Giveaway win, Buy It Now, Offer, Flash sale, Purchase, Payment failed or Break.
Person The username, with the buyer’s box number in that show in a small box when they had one.
Detail The item with its lot number and description, and more for some events: the number of bids on a sale, the starting price of an auction, the entries and the winner of a giveaway, how many spots of a break were filled, or whether a payment failure was resolved, dismissed or still failed. A chat row shows the message.
Amount The price of a sale, bid or purchase. No price means the platform did not send one.

Sales are highlighted. The results show 50 events at a time; Show more adds the next 50, and the foot says how many are shown out of all the matches.

A sale whose price looks impossible says Not counted under its amount: it is kept in the record but left out of every total in NotBot Data. Removed record marks an event that was later taken back out of the show’s record.

Under a result’s time, click the show’s name. Search then looks only in that show, the line under the title says “Every event NotBot saw in” the show’s name, and a Show chip with the show’s name and date sits beside Contains. With a show picked you can leave Contains empty to list every event in that show. Click the × on the Show chip to search all your shows again.

With a show picked, type buyer:12 in Contains (or number:12), using the box number you are looking for. The result is the buyer who had box 12 in that show, as a Box number row with their username. The event chips are replaced by Buyers and the count. This only works inside one show, because box numbers start again at every show.

A notice says “Still indexing”

Some of the shows being searched arrived recently and are still being added to search. A few of their events may be missing until that finishes. Search again a little later.

The same sale appears twice

The show was recorded on two computers, and Search lists what each computer recorded. Totals on the other pages count the show once.

An archived show’s events are missing

A search across all your shows leaves archived shows out.

“No events match”

Try fewer words, part of a username, or a wider date range. For a box number search, no buyer had that number in the show.

A row says “Time unknown”

NotBot did not record a time for that event. It is still listed.
