Items
What sold, grouped by item name with lot numbers ignored, with how many sold, at what price, and how each item's auctions did.
The Items page shows what you sold, grouped by item name, so you can see which items sell, what they usually go for and how their auctions do. Lot numbers are ignored: “1921 Morgan Dollar #14” and “1921 Morgan Dollar #20” are one item.
To open it, click Items in the sidebar under Data.

Choose what to look at
Section titled “Choose what to look at”The line under the title names the period and how many items sold in it, for example “Last 30 days · 31 items sold, grouped by name, lot numbers ignored”.
Step 1: Search for an item
Section titled “Step 1: Search for an item”Type part of a name in Search item names. The list narrows as you type. Upper and lower case do not matter.
Step 2: Pick auctions or purchases
Section titled “Step 2: Pick auctions or purchases”Next to the search box, click All, Auctions, or Buy It Now and offers. Buy It Now and offers covers everything bought outright: Buy It Now, accepted offers and other purchases.
Step 3: Pick a platform and a period
Section titled “Step 3: Pick a platform and a period”Click All platforms or one platform. At the right, click Last 30 days (the default), This year, or Custom to pick your own dates. The days are days in your own time zone.
When the period has sales in more than one currency, a currency menu appears beside the period chips. Prices, medians, gross and the price bands are all in the currency you pick; amounts in another currency are never added in.
Sales by category
Section titled “Sales by category”Sales by category draws a bar for each category the platform gave your items, with its sales, its gross, its median price and the share of its auctions that sold. Click a category to show only its items in the table; click it again, or Every category, to show them all.
This section only appears when at least 80% of the period’s sales, and of their gross, are items with a category. Below that, a chart mostly made of “no category” would not tell you much, so the page leaves it out. Your 50 biggest categories are listed by name and the rest are added up as Every other category. No category collects the sales whose item had none.
Sales by price
Section titled “Sales by price”Sales by price splits the period’s priced sales into six bands in the chosen currency: Under 5, 5 to 10, 10 to 25, 25 to 50, 50 to 100 and 100 and up. Each band shows its number of sales and its gross. Click a band to show only the items that sold in it; click it again, or Every price, to show them all.
With a band picked, the Sell-through column is hidden: an auction that did not sell has no price, so it belongs to no band.
The items table
Section titled “The items table”Each row is one item name, the biggest gross first.
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Item | The name it sold under most often, with lot numbers removed. “2 units bought outright” counts units bought through Buy It Now or offers; “some assumed 1” means an older NotBot did not send a quantity, so one unit was counted. |
| Shows | How many shows it sold in, or was auctioned in without selling. |
| Sold | Auction wins and purchases. A purchase of several units is one sale. “1 unpriced” counts sales without a price. |
| Sell-through | The share of its auctions that sold, with “26 of 27” under it. |
| Median | The middle sale price, with the lowest and highest under it. |
| Gross | What it brought in, in the chosen currency. Gross in another currency is listed under it. |
| Bids | The median number of bids on its sold auctions. |
| Length | How long its sold auctions usually ran, for example “41s” or “1m 5s”. |
| Last sold | The day it last sold. |
A · means there is nothing to show, for example Sell-through for an item that was never auctioned. A gross ending in “+” passed the largest total the page can add up exactly, so the real figure is higher. Click a column heading to sort by it, and click it again to reverse the order. Show more at the bottom adds more items.
Step 4: Open an item to see its sales
Section titled “Step 4: Open an item to see its sales”Click an item’s name. Its sales open under it, newest first: the day, whether it was an auction or bought outright, the show (click it to open the show’s page), the name it sold under, the buyer (click it to open their page) and the price. A sale without a price says unpriced. More sales adds older sales. When the item sold under more than one name, for example “1921 Morgan Dollar #14” and “1921 MORGAN DOLLAR”, a line starting Sold as above the sales lists each name exactly as it sold, lot number included, and how many sales it had.
Click the name again to close it.
If something looks different
Section titled “If something looks different”Why does a sale have no price?
The platform did not send a price for it. NotBot still recorded the sale, so it counts in Sold, and the foot of the page says how many sales without a price are counted in Sold but not in prices or gross.
Why are there no medians?
For a period longer than 13 months the page shows totals only. A notice, Totals only for periods over 13 months, says so. Pick a shorter period to see medians and price ranges.
Why don’t I see Sales by category?
Fewer than 80% of the period’s sales, or of their gross, came from items with a category. Platforms do not always send one.
The same item is listed twice
Items are grouped by name, ignoring upper and lower case and the lot number at the end. Two names that differ in any other way, for example “Morgan Dollar” and “Morgan Silver Dollar”, are two items. Open each one to see what it sold as.
The page says “Preparing your numbers”
NotBot Data is adding up your shows for the first time. The page fills in on its own. If a notice says shows are “still being calculated”, their sales are not counted here yet.
